Canon point: February 2009, a month or so after beginning her job with Torchwood. (Martha's calendar is two years and eleven months behind the standard Cittagazze calendar.)
Window location: Roald Dahl Plass, Cardiff. Behind a bench a short distance from Torchwood's "invisible lift".
Universe: Similar to modern-day Earth, with bonus aliens. Humans are becoming increasingly more aware of the presence of extraterrestrials after a number of encounters with them - a spaceship crashing into Big Ben, another over London on Christmas Day, Cybermen and Daleks invading Canary Wharf, the Titanic nearly crashing into Buckingham Palace, etc. Torchwood and UNIT are two secret (or not so secret) organisations devoted to protecting Earth from alien threats - Torchwood are aligned with the British government, while UNIT are a paramilitary organisation, formerly part of the UN.
AU details: Martha, not Lucy, killed the Master and was left by the Doctor. Shortly after earning her degree, she was tricked by UNIT and imprisoned for several months; eventually, Jack found her and brought her to Cardiff to work for Torchwood. She's legally dead and not allowed to see her family again; only her mother knows that she's alive. (Full information can be found here.)
Physical appearance: Martha's physical appearance differs from canon (and her icons); her hair is just barely shoulder-length (as of January 2013). She's also quite a bit thinner, the result of going on a hunger strike during her imprisonment. While she's gradually recovering, she still looks thin enough that it's clearly the result of something wrong with her. If anybody ever gets the chance to see her bare back (which isn't particularly likely), there's three long, straight, deep scars criss-crossing her skin, the result of a Toclafane attack in Australia. (They look almost unnaturally straight - like nothing man-made.) When she's on duty in the infirmary, she typically wears a white lab coat over her clothes, with a stethoscope around her neck.
Random things picked up from other worlds: The ability to morph, a Shinx named Storm, a set of enchanted Asgardian armor, a dressphere.

Morphs acquired: Collette, seagull, pteranodon, Arcanine, Lapras, Shinx, Absol, Swellow, Espeon, winter wolf, dragon, Norwegian forest cat, polar bear, white-tailed eagle, spectacled caiman, ermine, sea lion, snow leopard, African wild dog, red panda, chameleon.

The armor changes with her if she's wearing it when she morphs, unlike most other clothes, and can take on the appearance of whatever clothing she wants.

Dressphere info: Martha's Dressphere class is called 'Doctor', and it's a combination of regular doctoring and, well, that other kind of Doctoring. The Time Lord kind. (She is not happy about this.) Her outfit is a modified version of a Time Lord's robes - white with red accents, however, and with the new!Who seal on the shoulders (and without the dorky helmet bit). She's got a stethoscope around her neck, and her weapon (using the term loosely) is a long metal wand that bears a suspicious resemblance to an elongated sonic screwdriver (it doesn't, however, do anything that a normal sonic screwdriver would). The dressphere boosts magic, evasion, agility, and luck, and lowers strength and physical defense. Skills include Cure/Curaga, Protect, Teleportation, Time Trip, and Express.

Daemon info:
Name: Anton, though he goes by Ant.
Gender: Male
Species: African Wild Dog
Personality: A lot of the time, Ant represents the slightly goofy side of Martha's personality - the immaturity that she should have, given her relatively young age, but doesn't. He goes by a nickname because he likes it better (he thinks that being a large creature called Ant is funny). When they're alone, the two of them often engage in light banter. (Despite what I said about immaturity, he tends to be the more sarcastic one of the pair - and the one who voices what Martha's really thinking when it's just the two of them.)

However, he also takes Martha's protective tendencies to extremes - a result of everything she's experienced over the last few years. He usually sticks closer to her than most daemons, and will typically maintain some sort of physical contact if he perceives any sort of a threat, or if he just feels uneasy.

Martha's been recovering and coming out of her shell since Jack rescued her from UNIT - even more so once she arrived in Cittagazze - but a lot of it is simply maintaining a facade of normality. Ant doesn't have that facade, so he tends to be quieter and more withdrawn around others than Martha is. (Conversely, he's the one who also urges her to get out and try to be more normal.)
