Author's note/disclaimer: This doesn't quite fit in with the rest of the continuity because I came up with a lot of the verse's details after writing this fic. The primary issue at hand is that Martha isn't permitted contact with her family - however, it's a bit difficult to edit that part out and still have anything left. Just close one eye and squint a little while reading. ;)
